  •  Mission

The GLBA Scholarship Foundation is a charitable organization dedicated to investing in the future leaders of the GLBT community and our nation by providing outstanding students with financial resources, role modeling and inspiration. Students must demonstrate that they have the capacity and vision to improve an aspect of the GLBT community.

  •  Vision

Vision brings philanthropy. We believe by supporting the development of diversified leadership who possess vision, drive, compassion and knowledge, in turn we will create awareness of the varied GLBT community.

  •  Goals
  1. Award 4 scholarships of $2,000 and 1 Little Sister's scholarship of $1000 annually to students attending BC post-secondary educational institutions.
  2. Provide mentorship to the scholarship recipients from our vast GLBA membership
  3. Raise the profile of the GLBA of BC within the business, GLBT, and other communities.
  4. Develop business and community leadership and other skills to the benefit of the GLBT community.

  • Funding

100% of every dollar donated to The GLBA Scholarship Foundation goes to fund scholarships. This is made possible by the commitment and generosity of the Gay and Lesbian Business Association of BC (GLBA) which covers all administrative expenses of the foundation.  Please Make a Pledge today.
