Here are the most asked questions about the GLBA.

01. HOW CAN I GET A COPY OF THE GLBA DIRECTORY? Obtaining a GLBA directory is quite easy and there are multiple ways to get one: Little Sisters Book Store, located at 1238 Davie Street carries multiple copies of the GLBA directory. The GLBA office at Suite 211 - 1311 Howe Street in Vancouver. Variable hours so please call ahead to confirm office staff will be available to provide copies of the Directory or to answer any other questions you may have. Have a directory sent to you in the mail - call the GLBA office at 604-739-4522 and request a copy. Certain company members carry copies of the directory and will gladly give them out to interested persons. Please call the GLBA office at 604-739-4522 to find the company closest to you.

02. WHERE WOULD I GET A MEMBERSHIP PACKAGE? Call Barry at the GLBA office at 604-739-4522 and say you are interested in a membership package and we'll send one to you. Request a membership package by email at info@glba.org.

03. WHAT TYPE OF NETWORKING EVENTS DOES THE GLBA OFFER? The GLBA host by-monthly Breakfast Business Network meetings for members to network with other companies. Membership to the BBN is limited to one business category per group so that there is never a conflict of interest. During these meetings business leads are passed on to other members and guests. Members utilize the group as their own sales force, and at the same time act as promoters for other members' businesses.

04. WHAT TYPE OF BUSINESSES JOIN THE GLBA? All types of businesses can join and benefit from membership with the GLBA. Presently members range from large banking institutions to smaller owner-operated businesses with anywhere from 1 - 300 employees.

05. HOW MANY PEOPLE (WITHIN ONE ORGANIZATION) CAN BECOME MEMBERS OF THE GLBA? There is no limit to the number of members from one organization, and a reduced Associate Membership Fee is offered to encourage corporate enrollment.

06. WHAT ARE THE DEADLINES FOR MEMBERSHIP? There is never a set deadline for membership. There is however a set deadline for inclusion in the printed GLBA directory. If you miss the deadline for the printed directory you can still join the GLBA at a pro-rated price, and still be included in the online directory.
